1) WOW Omega-3 Ingredients
WOW Omega-3 contains the following ingredients: Omega 3 (ALA), Sodium, Cane Sugar, Glucose, Water, Citrus Pectin, Citric Acid, Sodium Citrate, Natural Orange extract for flavor.
2) Does WOW Omega-3 Work and it is Safe?
One serving of this supplement gives you 320 g Omega-3 (ALA). ALA (alpha-linolenic acid) is considered a true omega-3 because our bodies can use it to make DHA and EPA. Unfortunately, the conversion rate is low, often thought to be around one percent. The rest is converted into energy. Fortunately, even with a low conversion rate, we can still get enough DHA and EPA here. You’ll probably get around 3 g (3000 mg) of DHA and EPA after taking in 320 g of ALA. Your conversion rate will vary depending on age, gender, and other factors, and may be as high as 12 percent (EPA and DHA combined).
Research continuously proves that omega-3s are effective in combating heart disease and other problems. Even from ALA, omega-3s can improve cognitive function and behavior, improve mood, prevent damage caused by prescription medication, and increase bone density. Normally people get them from fish products, but that can carry a higher risk of contamination, or getting mercury inside your body. ALA is a safe and effective way to get your daily fill of EPA and DHA.
3) WOW Omega-3 Health Benefits
- High potency Omega-3 supplement (over 1000 percent of your daily value for ALA in each gummy). They are even halal, kosher, and vegan.
- Gelatin free adult gummy supplements with orange flavoring. People have mixed feelings about the taste and texture.
- The Omega-3 is ALA instead of DHA or EPA, which is helpful if you are not sure which one you need. ALA is also commonly derived from seeds, so this product is free of fish oil and mercury.
4) What You Need to Know Before Taking WOW Omega-3
- Contains sugar but the nutrition facts section doesn’t list how much. It only says 164 g total carbohydrates per serving. There is also 79 g sodium per gummy, which seems high.
- Apparently only for adults. The product label doesn’t recommend these for anyone under the age of 18, although that is probably a standard disclaimer. Given the formula and ingredients present in this supplement, it should be okay for literally anyone who can chew food properly.
5) How Much Does WOW Omega-3 Cost?
Bottles contain 60 gummies and most people will take 2 a day. For a one month supply of a gummy supplement, the price is average. You should consult your doctor before buying this supplement, because you might need more or fewer gummies. Some people will be fine with just one daily, and getting two months out of one bottle is a fantastic deal. If you need 3 or 4 a day, the price gets higher, but the price remains in a reasonable range.
6) WOW Omega-3 Serving Size
Each gummy supplies you with 160 g of ALA Omega-3. The recommended dietary amount is a mere 1.1 to 1.6 g a day. (This means Fit And Glow made a big typo: one serving of 320 g is not 200 percent of your daily value, it is 20,000.) We get a good amount of ALA in our daily diets since it is found in many foods. It is usually used for energy, though, with a very small amount converted into DHA and EPA. The amount varies widely from person to person. It depends on diet, age, gender, and potentially other biological or environmental factors. Low EPA levels can correlate with heart problems, joint and bone conditions, and mental health issues. Keeping your body supplied with EPA can help prevent long-lasting chronic illness. Among the young and elderly, DHA is generally used to help your central nervous system and cognitive development.
7) Bottom Line – Does It Really Work?
Most adults will need an EPA supplement, and an ALA supplement may do the trick. Some people will be best served by getting EPA directly instead of indirectly, since ALA conversion into EPA and DHA is unreliable. It happens, but the rate varies wildly from person to person. If you want a specific amount of EPA in your diet, an ALA supplement might not be the best option. But it is an option, and for some people, it is the best possible option. There are hundreds of positive reviews and supplements about this Fit And Glow product. If you think you need it, you just might.

Frequently Asked Questions about WOW Omega-3
- Recent:
WOW Omega-3 includes the following ingredients: Omega 3 (ALA), Sodium, Cane Sugar, Glucose, Water, Citrus Pectin, Citric Acid, Sodium Citrate, Natural Orange extract for flavor
This is a potent way to get the Omega-3s you need in your daily diet. People have widely differing opinions on the taste and texture. One reviewer said they smelled bad and had a chalky taste – another reviewer said the taste good, like fruit snacks. Since this product is vegan and doesn't contain any fish, it shouldn't have any smell. Most people say there isn't an aftertaste, although one person said it's a little weird. Experiences vary widely, but most people enjoy the gummies. The one clear downside is that results don't tend to appear immediately. Omega-3 supplements are for long term benefits. And if you want to improve your health for the future, this could be a good place to start.
