1) What’s Inside Untapped Mind?
Untapped Mind contains the following ingredients: DHA, DMEA, L-Glutamine, Bacopin, L-pyroglutamic Acid, Choline, N-Acetyl Tyrosine, Bilberry Fruit, Gamma Aminobutyric Acid, Grape Skin extract, Vinpocetine, Trace Lyte Electrolye concentrate, Huperzine A, Boron, Vanadium, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B3, Vitamin B6, Folic Acid, Biotin, Calcium, Iron, Iodine, Magnesium, Zinc, Selenium, Copper, Manganese, Chromium, Molybdenum, Potassium
2) Does Untapped Mind Work and it is Safe?
Each capsule contains almost two dozen vitamins and minerals, 2 other ingredients, and a special proprietary blend of 19 ingredients. This blend includes green tea extract, bacopin, choline, grape seed, and more. Capsules are also made with vegetable sources, so the entire thing is vegan friendly. There isn’t a separate list of ingredients for the blend which has their amounts, so it’s hard to tell how strong the blend is. The ingredients are commonly used in herbal remedies and nootropic stacks, but we don’t know what the serving sizes are for them.
Selenomethionine is a naturally occurring amino acid. It’s an organic form of the mineral selenium, an ingredient some supplements use. Some studies have shown that selenomethionine can be absorbed into the body better than selenium. Supplements without amino acids are often considered inefficient because of how they fail to penetrate the blood brain barrier. Amino acids can help strengthen cognition while assisting with delivery of other nutrients. Molybdenum is an essential element that’s found in humans and various foods we eat. Deficiencies are rare so it’s an uncommon ingredient in supplements. Its medical applications are still being reviewed, but it can at least help guard against tooth decay to an extent.
3) Untapped Mind: Pros and Cons
- Servings are an appropriate size. The vitamin C is slightly higher than necessary, but everything else looks good. Although some research says increased vitamin C can be good, other research says there isn’t any extra benefit to taking over 400 percent of your daily value for C. Adding more vitamin D instead would have balanced this out better.
- This is a combination nootropic and multivitamin to ensure you get maximum benefit for your mind and body.
4) What You Need to Know Before Taking Untapped Mind
- Doesn’t list the amounts or sources of each ingredient for the proprietary blend. It’s common to see some of the ingredients, like DHA and green tea extract, but we don’t know how much of each will be in each serving of this supplement. There are 19 distinct nootropics and that could be too many.
- The formula could use minor tweaks for optimization. Aside from the unknown quantities in the proprietary blend, some vitamins and minerals have amounts that could be changed without negative impacts. Decreasing the vitamin B6 and increasing the calcium, for example.
5) How Much Does Untapped Mind Cost?
This is rather inexpensive for a one month supply. Each bottle has 60 vegetarian capsules and you can take 1 to 2 a day. The label recommends taking two capsules 20 to 30 minutes before meals, with plenty of water. Most products similar to this one are almost double this price, so this is a great deal.
6) Untapped Mind Serving Size
Untapped Mind features 21 vitamins and minerals, the amino acid selenomethionine, and a special blend developed for Pristine Nature. There’s also molybdenum, an element found in some metals and minerals. The blend includes well known ingredients like choline, green tea extract, DHA, and phosphatidylserine. Phosphatidyl-based supplements are often made from vegetables like cabbage or soy. Unfortunately Pristine Nature doesn’t tell us where the phosphatidylserine here comes from. However, it’s key in maintaining cellular function. It’s supposed to promote communication within brain cells and help develop neutrotransmitters. Like several other ingredients, it can improve learning and memory. The effects are often subtle for healthy adults, since their brain tends to be in good health by default. There are newer versions of phosphatidylserine being studied, and their effectiveness is often considered equal to current versions. It’s not known which version is used by Pristine Nature.
7) Our Final Take On Untapped Mind
Untapped Mind is a decent supplement to add into your daily diet. The vitamins and minerals make it attractive even for people who don’t understand nootropics that well. The proprietary blend and the amino acid inclusion should serve most people well. Some reviewers have said this supplement is subtle, which is normally good, but that could also be a sign of insufficient amounts of certain ingredients. Beginners will enjoy this product most, as a result. Still, almost everyone who takes it enjoys it, including more advanced nootropic users.

This doesn't make a lot of lofty promises, but it does make the usual nootropic claims of being able to create a better you. It seems to deliver on its overall promises, as reviews and testimonials are greatly positive. Almost everyone who takes this product seems to greatly enjoy it. One reviewer said it's good for improving mental clarity and alertness, without side effects, and giving slight boosts of energy. The reviewer went on to say that this isn't the most potent supplement, so perhaps the proprietary blend is a little weak for some. Untapped Mind seems best as an introduction to nootropics, given the multivitamin aspect and subtle effects, but can suit anyone. Its blend of vitamins and minerals also make it good for general well being.
