Student Essay Scholarship
Words have the power to help people live better and healthier lives.
Entry Deadline: December 31, 2020
Requirements: 1,500 – 2,000 words
Award: Four winners will be chosen based on the quality of the submitted essay. The highest award is $1,500. Three additional winners will be given $500 each. All winners will be notified and awards will be given toward the end of January 2021.
2020 Essay Subject: Brain Health – Effects of Nutrients on Cognitive Processes and Emotions.
We should constantly motivate and inform others, including children and older adults, about the importance of making sure your brain is, and stays, as healthy as possible for the years to come. Poor nutrition can negatively impact our health.
In 2000 words or less, please explain the importance of good brain health, and how specific nutrients can influence your cognitive functions.
About the Scholarship Program
The BrainReference.com Scholarship Program was created in hopes that it may encourage students in various health fields to work toward a future in which brain-related problems can be controlled. Some of the supplements on the market do a good job in delivering the required nutrients to the brain for better stress management, and to deal with many other issues like the lack of attention, poor memory, the ability to concentrate and stay focused, etc.
