Perfect Focus Review
Perfect Focus is a nootropic dietary supplement that promises to promote proper brain function, focus, clarity, and increased memory capacity. It’s sold by Natural Genetics, an Ohio company with a decent amount of experience in the field of supplements. They sell 14 products to fill a variety of mental and physical needs. It’s not clear when they were founded, but it’s within the past decade. The people who would be most interested in Perfect Focus are people looking for an extra edge in classes or daily work life. It may decrease stress while increasing focus and memory, which are all relevant things.
Perfect Focus contains the following ingredients: Ginkgoxine, Ginkgo Biloba, St. John’s Wort, Glutamine, Phosphatidylserine Complex, Bacopa Monnier, Dimethylaminoethanol Bitartrate, Acetyl-L Carnitine, Vinpocentine
Each capsule of Perfect Focus contains 8 active ingredients in a gelatin capsule. They use a special form of Ginkgo biloba extract called Ginkgoxine. Other ingredients include St. John’s Wort, vinpocetine, DMAE (dimethylaminoethanol bitartrate here), and Glutamine. St. John’s Wort is a very familiar ingredient found in many popular nootropics. It’s a medicinal herb used as a natural antidepressant and anti-inflammatory. There’s some evidence to show it can be an effective treatment for mild to moderate depression, although more research is needed into wort benefits. Different countries have ended up with different results, so it’s hard to perform a comprehensive analysis of the existing body of research.
Vinpocetine is a derivative of periwinkle plant extract (Vinca minor). It can increase blood flow in the brain and may protect brain cells against certain kinds of injuries. Vinpocetine has been researched well enough to come up with studies that say it can improve thinking skills, but better studies are needed. Since it can have side effects like headaches or weakening your immune system, it’s a little unclear if vinpocetine is worth including in supplements. The amount isn’t listed here either, so we can’t tell if it’s a good amount.
- Contains Ginkgo biloba and St. John’s Wort, two popular ingredients in nootropic. The capsule sizes are good, and are decently easy to swallow.
- Popular type of formula with complimentary ingredients. Reportedly no smell or aftertaste.
- No clear differences between this supplement and its direct competitors. They use similar formulas, and this formula just excludes Huperzine-A. It does include the patented Ginkgoxine instead of a simple ginkgo extract, but it’s not clear if this is superior or not.
- A little more expensive than similar supplements, and there doesn’t seem to be a money back guarantee in case of dissatisfaction. But if you can find this for half off, it’s a decent deal.
Several reviewers have said they feel sharper, with increased natural focus and concentration. It looks like this nootropic does what it promises. This isn’t the first product from Natural Genetics and they seem to know what they’re doing. Their products attain good reviews while serving a variety of needs. For a strong boost in mental performance and clarity that doesn’t contain caffeine, this seems to be an effective product, although the price is sometimes high.
