1) Quick Overview
Ortho Mind is a combination of herbal ingredients, amino-acids and other nutrients designed to support and enhance cognitive function and assist with stress. The product is advertised to be free of wheat, gluten, corn, dairy, nuts, soy, eggs, fish, shellfish or any animal byproduct.
Citicoline (or CDP-Choline) is a naturally synthesized by the body from Choline. It has been shown by various studies to possess nootropic properties. Scientists believe its brain benefits reside in Citicolin’s role as a brain phospholipid booster, thus enhancing the brain’s natural ability to synthesize phospholipids. Phospholipids in turn (particularly Phosphatidylcholine (PC) and Phosphatidylserine (PS)) are essential components of brain cell membranes. Their presence ensures for normal responsiveness of the brain to neurotransmitter signals. Additionally, Citicoline was shown to play a role in the process of synthesis of key neurotransmitters, including acetylcholine, norepinephrine, dopamine and serotonin many of which work to regulate key brain functions (such as memory, focus and learning).
Panax Ginseng is commonly used today for improving thinking, concentration, memory and work efficiency, as well as physical stamina and athletic endurance. It is also used to restore deteriorated brain functions, in patients with Alzheimer’s for example. Prolonged use is potentially unsafe. Side effects may include low blood pressure, headache, diarrhea, itching, rash, dizziness, mood changes and loss of appetite.
2) What Are Ortho Mind Ingredients?
Ortho Mind includes the following ingredients: R(+)-lipoic acid, Panax ginseng (30:1 extract), Bacopa Monnieri extract (50% Baccosides A&B), ALCAR Acetyl-L-Carnitine, Citicoline, Arginine Pyroglutamate, Pantothenic Acid (from Calcium d-Pantothenate), and microcrystalline cellulose.
3) Ortho Mind: Pros and Cons

- No consumer review;
- Potentially serious side effects;
- Not suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
5) Ortho Mind Serving Size
The manufacturer recommends taking 6 capsules daily. Side effects include gastrointestinal discomfort (such as diarrhea), insomnia, anxiety, headaches, nausea, dry mouth and fatigue.
6) Our Bottom Line
Ortho Mind is blend of herbal ingredients, amino-acids and other nutrients. The Bacopa Monnieri comes in a standardized extract, a preparation which has been used in testing and was proven safe and effective. Also, the other nutrients have been thoroughly tested with encouraging results being recorded. The formula is hence likely to work for some consumers. No product reviews could be identified online therefore we do not have empirical evidence to what extent the formula reaches its goal.
However, Ortho Mind comes with an extensive list of contraindications, precautions and side effects which should not be ignored.
For precautionary reasons we advise that you seek the advice of a specialist and that you carefully read the label prior to use.

I desparately needed something…and found Ortho-Mind. I had a stroke some years ago, lost some memory and have always suffered from chronic PVC’s in my heart beat. Here’s my review after one bottle of 180 caps taken of the Ortho-Mind product from AOR.
Helped short term memory about 50%.
Helped long term memory about 30%.
Helped in focus/attention deficit about 30%.
Iradicated PVC’s….95% for sure.
Improved (50k) bicycle endurance by 100%.
Lowered libido (sex drive) by 50%.
Having said that about libido:
It “enhanced erection hardness” by 70% and longevity by about 30%.
Restored stroke injuries of alertness, ambition and ability to take action on projects to be done:
I would measure those about 50% increase.
Encreased depression: awe…50%…sorry.
Trying to figure out how to counteract the depression issue now. Will let you know.
