Michael was born in 1972 in Burlington, Vermont. He graduated from Cornell University School of Agriculture. He has begun writing from his junior school days; he published a write-up about the dangers of bovine spongiform encephalopathy in 1994.
Before working at Dietspotlight, Michael researched and authored articles on all things health related for more than a decade. Passionate about his field of study, he has done many types of research that enable him to come up with publications he believes will be useful to help people maintain a healthy living through consuming good food. He did publications on topics such as Heart Failure, Carbophobia, Bird Flu, and How Not to Die.
