1) Quick Overview
I Need to Focus in School is a mixture of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and Omegas 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids.
Omega-3, Omega-6 and Omega-9 are essential fatty acids with great impact on proper brain function. Recently, they have been studied to determine their role in ADHD/ADD prevention and symptom alleviation. In theory, there seems to be a connection between these fatty acids and ADD/ADHD, since fatty acids are a big part of the brain (DHA, an Omega-3 fatty acid, actually represents 50% of the brain). Hence, the lack of fatty acids (result of a poor diet) may lead to psychiatric and brain nutrients imbalances. However, these are only assumptions at this point, waiting to be scientifically proven.
Recent research on Vitamin B6 and B12 has shown that steady intakes may potentially improve cognition as well as lower the likelihood of depression. Also, the two vitamins are essential for the functioning of the entire nervous system, blood cells formation and energy synthesis. Actually, B12 has been shown to particularly help with symptoms of ADHD through its involvement in the production and maintenance of myelin (the protective coating of nerve cells), essential fatty acid metabolism and energy production. Vitamin B6 is needed to maintain normal levels of magnesium, a mineral that is often deficient in ADHD patients.

People that use this substance have experienced positive results with conditions like depression, schizophrenia, Alzheimer’s disease, autism, and attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder. The use of this ingredient can cause some side effects, such as tiredness, headache, and dizziness.
Also, the supplement features Omega-3, fatty acids known to protect and enhance brain function on various levels. Omega-3 has blood-thinning properties and may interfere with blood thinning medication.

This was good for my children, but i tried the adult version of this and had no actual results.
My 6yr old, 43 pound son was diagnosed with ADHD. He is not on any Rx drugs. We give him Children’s Calm multi, Omega Swirl and probiotics. It helps, but still cannot focus and has hyperactivity. I recently purchased I need to focus in school for him. Should I discontinue any or all of his other vitamins & supplements while taking I need to focus in school? Just not sure how much is too much…
Thanks,
Rebecca Heckman
I haven’t given I need to Focus to my son yet, it came in the mail yesterday. I wanted to know if I should continue giving him his regular vitamins with it. I take fish oil, complex b and multivitamins. Thanks for your help.
How do I get a free trial?
This vitamin does work well for my 9 year old son, however he gags from the taste I have tried different juices he will drink it but I wish I could make it easier for him! Any ideas? I wondered if putting it in capsules would work?
As we’ve mentioned before, it’s difficult finding a way to mask the taste, as some children cannot handle it. Capsules may work, but they may also decrease the efficiency of the product. You can try combining the supplement with fruit smoothies or sweetened tea.
How do I hide the smell? My 6 yr old smells it and starts to gag. I have tried to add it to ice cream, chocolate milk, juices. I want to help my child on her focus in school but cannot get it into her.
Unfortunately, there is no sure proof way to mask the smell. Some people had some relative success after adding some strong scents (like cinnamon or nutmeg), so that may be a solution if you would like to try it.
Will this product help my 17 year old.He is about 130 pounds. He has had add forever and nothing helped.
Some people may benefit from a certain treatment, while others won’t. Not every person is the same. However, our recommendation is to take a look over our top ADD/ADHD products. Many consumers have found them to be quite effective.
