Happy Days is a blend of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and herbal ingredients. Valerian Root is an herbal supplement known for its relaxing, mild sedative effects. It has been use traditionally to treat menstrual cramps, anxiety and insomnia, although scientific evidence is lacking. It seems that Valerian’s anti-spasmodic properties may bring relief in mild menstrual cramps and mood-related symptoms like nervousness, anxiety and insomnia associated to menstruation. Most common side effects, although rare are sedation, dizziness, drowsiness or nausea.
The Valerian root also contains Valerenic acid, which is believed to prevent the degradation of GABA, one of the most important neurotransmitters in the brain. GABA, an ingredient of Happy Days is known to assist with muscle relaxation and to induce feelings of sedation and mental calmness. The neurotransmitter also reduces anxiety and defines stress response. Lower GABA receptor activity has been noticed in women suffering from PMS. Not enough is known about the safety of the GABA supplementation.
The manufacturer recommends taking 2 tablets daily up to five days before the menstrual cycle and then during the cycle as needed. There are no reviews available online.

Happy Days is especially designed to provide menstrual relief and support women during menstruation. The formula is a blend of amino-acids, minerals, vitamins and herbal ingredients each acting through different mechanism to calm and alleviate PMS and menstrual symptoms. Unfortunately, there are no consumer reviews available online so that we may evaluate its actual effectiveness.
Even though this is a natural formula and likely has less side effects that traditional drugs used to treat PMS, some ingredients may produce certain side effects and may interact with medication. This is something that should always be considered before taking any dietary supplement and why we advise you carefully read the label before deciding if this is the right formula for you.
