Dandelion Review – 4 Facts You Need to Know
Dandelion is a common herb that is included in various supplements and natural remedies recommended for anxiety, depression, and insomnia. Many companies are using this ingredient into their formulations.
This plant has been used in folk healing for thousands of years. It can be found in dietary supplements or as a single ingredient supplement in almost every health food store.
It is believed this plant has many beneficial properties but is most commonly offered in diuretic products that are claimed to help the body naturally reduce fat and eliminate excess water.
Most of Dandelion’s roots and leaves are coming from Europe. However, due to the high demand, the plant is heavily grown in the United States too.

1) Dandelion Ingredients
Dandelion includes the following ingredients: Organic Dandelion Root (Taraxacum officinale).2) Does Dandelion Work?
We know that Native American used Dandelion to treat various health issues such as indigestion, kidney disease, and heartburn. Traditional Chinese Medicine used it in combination with other herbs and minerals to treat hepatitis and upper respiratory tract infections, including pneumonia and bronchitis. Arabian medicine is commonly using it to treat liver disease.
This plant has been used for centuries to treat gall bladder, liver problems, kidney and joint problems. It is believed that the root may have blood purifying properties and it is used for eczema and cancer treatment.
Studies have shown that Dandelion is an excellent source of potassium, phosphorus, calcium, sodium and iron. The leaves are a rich source of vitamins, including some essential vitamins for a proper body functioning: vitamin B, vitamin C, and vitamin D.
Some studies suggest that this plant may offer relief for arthritis and rheumatism and that it is critical to many internal organs including kidneys, liver, pancreas, stomach and spleen.
Dandelion can be found in almost every food store and as an ingredient in a wide variety of supplements and natural remedies. However, that fact that this ingredient has been used for thousands of years as a treatment for so many health problems doesn’t mean it is just as effective as it is claimed to be. Some clinical researches still must be conducted to prove its Effectiveness. The plant showed some positive results during the first trials, but the final trials are far from complete.
3) Dandelion Price
The price of a Dandelion supplement may vary based on manufacturer, quality of ingredients or retailers. Dandelion can be found in almost every food store as well. In this case, you may be able to purchase it at a lower price.
In case you order the product online, please take into consideration the shipping costs as well.
4) Bottom Line – Does It Really Work?
Dandelion does look promising, and we encourage further research. It is recommended to find a naturopathic specialist as he can provide more information on this subject.
It is also recommended when you purchase a product that contains Dandelion to check the other ingredients as well. When used in a formulation, the other ingredients are crucial too.
With technology on the rise, there’s little doubt it will soon bleed into the brain supplementation market, and, for some, it already has. But some products are already there.

Just about a year ago I started gradually swelling on th left side only. I went to doctors and nothing was done NO ANSWERS were given to me for this very painful problem which gradually became serious enough to impair my walking. I was then threw testing diagnosed with spinal stenosis, but was said that this condition was not causing the swelling. Very discouraged and in pain the left side of my body was 2 sizes bigger than my right , at that time my 21 year old daughter and I decided to try to figure this out on our own. We first started to look at everything on the internet and we finally came up with Dandelion root to try to help along with vitamin B6. I started with the B6 and two days later started with 14 drops of dandelion root in 3ounces of cold water twice daily. I can say today that only after not even a week I have no swelling in my left side my stomach is no longer bloated I can eat again without painful gas in my chest. I am a 45 yearold epileptic with 6 children, 2 grandchildren and I no longer feel like I’m dieing and I can get on the floor with my grandchildren This has definatley given me my life back……
