Bayberg Brain Booster Review – 8 Things To Consider
Brain Booster is a supplement and nootropic which claims to improve memory and concentration, along with providing natural energy and mental stimulation. It is sold by Bayberg, a company known for having two popular products in the dietary supplement field. This is almost a multivitamin with nootropic elements, something which should have a lot of benefit for most people. The company says this is one of the best cognitive enhancers on the market, and they just might be onto something.

1) Brain Booster Quick Facts
Brain Booster features 21 vitamins and minerals, the amino acid selenomethionine, and a special blend developed by Bayberg. There’s also molybdenum, an element found in some metals and minerals. The blend includes well known ingredients like choline, green tea extract, DHA, and phosphatidylserine.
2) What’s Inside Brain Booster?
Brain Booster contains the following ingredients: Vitamin A, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B3, Vitamin B5, Vitamin B6, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Folic Acid Pure, Biotin 1%, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Zinc, Selenomethionine, Copper, Manganese, Chromium, Molybdenum, Potassium
3) Is Brain Booster Right for You?
Each capsule contains 21 vitamins and minerals, 2 other ingredients, and a special proprietary blend. Bayberg’s blend includes green tea extract, bacopin, choline, grape seed, and more. Capsules are also made with vegetable sources, so the entire thing is vegan friendly. There isn’t a separate list of ingredients for the blend which has their amounts, so it’s hard to tell how strong the blend is. The ingredients are commonly used in herbal remedies and nootropic stacks, but we don’t know what the serving sizes are for them.
Selenomethionine is a naturally occurring amino acid. It’s an organic form of the mineral selenium, an ingredient some supplements use. Some studies have shown that selenomethionine can be absorbed into the body better than selenium. Supplements without amino acids are often considered inefficient because of how they fail to penetrate the blood brain barrier. Amino acids can help strengthen cognition while assisting with delivery of other nutrients. Molybdenum is an essential element that’s found in humans and various foods we eat. Deficiencies are rare so it’s an uncommon ingredient in supplements. Its medical applications are still being reviewed, but it can at least help guard against tooth decay to an extent.
4) Brain Booster: Pros and Cons
- Servings are an appropriate size. The vitamin C is slightly higher than necessary, but everything else looks good. Taking a half dose or higher dose wouldn’t be the best idea. It wouldn’t hurt to have more vitamin D, but the amount is still higher than that of many similar products.
- This is a combination nootropic and multivitamin to ensure you get maximum benefit for your mind and body.
5) What You Need to Know Before Taking Brain Booster
- Doesn’t list the amounts or sources of each ingredient for Bayberg’s proprietary blend. It’s common to see some of the ingredients, like DHA and green tea extract, but we don’t know how much of each will be in each serving of Brain Booster.
- The formula could use minor tweaks for optimization. Aside from the unknown quantities in the proprietary blend, a couple of vitamins and minerals have amounts that could be changed without negative impacts. Decreasing the vitamin B6 and increasing the calcium, for example.
6) How Much Does Brain Booster Cost?
The directions recommend taking two capsules a day, around a half hour before meals, with a full glass of water. Since each bottle contains 60 capsules, you’re buying a one month supply. The price is about average unless you buy near MSRP. In most cases, Brain Booster isn’t sold for that much, because the MSRP brings the price rather high for a one month supply of a supplement. The company does run special offers and promotions, though, giving discounts for ordering more than 1 bottle at a time.
7) Brain Booster Serving Size
Phosphatidyl-based supplements are often made from vegetables like cabbage or soy. Unfortunately Bayberg doesn’t tell us where the phosphatidylserine comes from. However, it’s key in maintaining cellular function. It’s supposed to promote communication within brain cells and help develop neutrotransmitters. Like several other ingredients, it can improve learning and memory. The effects are often subtle for healthy adults, since their brain tends to be in good health by default. There are newer versions of phosphatidylserine being studied, although their effectiveness is often considered equal to current versions. It’s not known which version is used by Bayberg.
8) Final Thoughts on Brain Booster
Brain Booster is a good supplement to add into your daily diet. The vitamins and minerals make it attractive even for people who don’t understand nootropics that well. Bayberg’s additional blend and the amino acid inclusion should serve most people well. A few reviewers have said this supplement has a subtle effect, which is normally good, but that could also be indicative of a not so potent nootropic stack. Beginners and advanced nootropic users alike will enjoy Brain Booster, although it seems best suited to beginners because it isn’t the most potent formula. Still, almost everyone who takes it enjoys it. Reviews and testimonials are overwhelmingly positive.

Almost everyone who takes this product seems to greatly enjoy it. One of the top reviews said it's good for improving mental clarity and alertness, without side effects, and giving slight boosts of energy. The reviewer went on to say that the effects were not dramatic, so perhaps Bayberg's proprietary blend doesn't have the best potency. The capsules are reportedly a bit large, yet still easy to swallow, and without any nasty aftertaste. Extra energy without any crashes is something another reviewer talked about. Brain Booster appears to be a high quality product which can fulfill a variety of needs. It seems best as an introduction to nootropics, given the multivitamin aspect and subtle effects, but can suit anyone.
