ZenMind is a dietary supplement designed to provide a unique and natural path to relaxation without sedation. The formula is manufactured by Nutricology, a company which has been on the dietary supplements industry for more than 30 years. The company operas a GMP certified facility in Alameda, California, U.S.A and uses certified independent analytical laboratories to test raw materials as well as finished products.

ZenMind is addressed to adults who wish to achieve relaxation without using traditional sedatives medicine which comes with numerous side effects. The formula is hypoallergenic and vegetarian, making it an excellent choice for specific categories of patients.

ZenMind Ingredients

ZenMind formula contains the following ingredients: GABA (Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid), L-Theanine, Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, and L-Leucine.

Product Features

ZenMind is based on a combination of two amino acids GABA and L-Theanine in a combination designed to support relaxation.

Gamma Amino Butyric Acid is an amino acid that acts as an important neurotransmitter. It is the most important inhibitory neurotransmitter and works to prevent the over-firing of nerve cells, thus maintaining and promoting a calming effect. It is mostly used to treat conditions affecting the nervous system like depression, anxiety, ADHD and epilepsy. Evidence suggests that when combined with Inositol and Niacin (vitamin B3), GABA helps relieve stress and anxiety related impulses from reaching the brain. High doses may cause some side-effects such as anxiety, tingling in the extremities and shortness of breath. A daily dosage of GABA has not been established.

L-Theanine is extracted from green tea leaves and has been marketed as a supplement for more than 50 years.
Although research is still in progress, Theanine is believed to have psychoactive properties. In addition, it can easily cross the blood-brain barrier and acts to reduce stress and improve mood and cognition. There is evidence that it might stimulate the production of Serotonin in humans, hence it may determine happiness and comfort feelings. Long term safety and side effects are not systematically studied.

The suggested daily dose of ZenMind is 1 or 2 capsules between meals. The manufacturer warns that the formula contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm. No side effects are mentioned.
