Sage is the trademark name of the dietary supplement produced and marketed by Nature’s Sunshine. The manufacturer is a U.S. based company which produces a variety of herbal supplements and remedies for a wide range of health conditions.

The formula is based on the Sage (Salvia officinalis) plant extract, a very popular herb, traditionally known for its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antiseptic and anti-aging qualities. Sage may also be a memory enhancer and assist in calming the digestive and nervous systems.

Particularly, this product is advertised as having multiple benefits. It may relieve excessive sweating and perspiration through its anty-hydronic properties and, as a consequence, may assists with menopausal hot flushes and night sweats (to which excessive sweating is associated). Sage may also be a remedy for mouth ulcers and minor throat infections (used as a gargle).
