Rawleigh Antiseptic Salve Ingredients

Rawleigh Antiseptic Salve includes the following ingredients: Turpentine, Liquefied Phenol, Petrolatum, Paraffin and Cottonseed Oil.

Product Features

Rawleigh Antiseptic Salve contains parafines, phenols and other ingredients in a product designed to assist with numerous skin wounds and irritations.

Turpentine is extracted from the resin of several pine trees. The oil is applied to the skin for various pains, including those affecting joints, muscles, nerves and toothaches. Although research is extremely limited, it appears that inhaled Turpentine may help with congested chest and lung problems.

Phenols are a class of chemical compounds with several health benefits. They are found in numerous herbs, such as Green Tea, and are believed to help decrease the risk of developing cancer. Many phenols also have antioxidant properties (such as Flavonoids and tocopherols), hence they may be effective against the damaging actions of free radicals.

The formula contains cottonseed oil, extracted from cotton plant seeds and used as a vegetable oil in numerous health and care products, foods, salad dressings and cooking in general. It is flavorless and free of saturated fat, making an excellent dietary source.

There are several testimonials posted online on this product, the majority reporting positive results. The product should be applied on the injured area and covered with bandage. Results should be seen in 24 hours time.
