Panicyl is a brain supplement designed as a natural relief for stress, and stressed related anxiety, depression and panic attacks. According to the manufacturer Panicyl Corporation, the product has a rate of success of 87%, however this information is not supported by any actual scientific studies or research. The formula is advertised to work by balancing the levels of two key neurotransmitters: Serotonin and Norepinephrine, which are accountable for mood, behavior and emotional balance.

Panicyl Corporation operates a GMP registered facility as provided by the FDA and is a member of the National Products Association (NPA) and of the Better Business Bureau. There is very little information available on the company, and, as far as we know, Panicyl is the only product marketed by the company.

Panicyl is a non-habit forming, natural anti-anxiety solution recommended to adults.

Panicyl Ingredients

Panicyl contains the following ingredients: Ashwaganda 1.5% Withanolides, Gamma Amino Butyric Acid (GABA), L-Theanine, Korean Ginseng (Panax), L-Tyrosine, L-Tryptophan, Rhodiola Rosea 4%, Vinpocetine, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, Vitamin C, Folic Acid, rice flour and/or magnesium stearate, and gelatin.

Product Features

Panicyl is a mixture of herbal ingredients designed to support mood and provide support against tress induced depression and anxiety. Vinpocetine is a chemical substance obtained from Vincamine, an alkaloid naturally occurring in the seeds of Voacanga as well as in other plants. The compound is used since 1960, especially in Europe where it was prescribed to treat conditions such as age-related memory impairment, cerebrovascular disorders, short-term memory impairment and treat Tinnitus (ringing in the years)..

Vinpocetine is a vasodilator, hence helping increases cerebral blood flow. Its neuroprotective functions are well appreciated and include memory and concentration enhancement, activating cerebral metabolism, increasing awareness and alertness and cognitive performance. Vinpocetine has been reported to cause nausea, sleep disturbances, stomach pain, headache, dizziness and nervousness.

GABA is one of the most important inhibitory neurotransmitters in the brain. It is key to the well functioning of the nervous system; however its oral or otherwise administrated benefits are yet to be demonstrated. GABA supplements are often advertised to relieve anxiety (GABA levels have been shown to be lower in patients suffering from anxiety disorders such as panic attacks, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, etc), treating attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), reducing symptoms of PMS, improving mood, burning fat, or promoting lean muscle growth. Side effects include drowsiness and modified breathing patterns.

The suggested dose is 2 capsules. No side effects are mentioned by the manufacturer. Although most consumer reviews report great results, there are some consumers who claim the product did not work, or worse, caused them to feel anxious.
