OPC Synergy includes the following ingredients: Grape (Seed) Extract (Masquelier’s Original OPC Included), Red Wine Extract (Provinols), Green Tea (Leaves) Extract (60% Catechins), Bilberry (Fruit) (25% Anthocyanins), Proprietary Blend: Dried buckwheat (leaf) and juice, green tea (leaf) powder, and dried carrot (root), gelatin, water, Calcium Stearate, and colors.

Product Features

OPC Synergy features extracts of plants and seeds with powerful antioxidant properties. The Grape Seed Extract featured by the formula is claimed to contain OPC, a group of substances considered one of the most potent free radical scavengers ever discovered. Extensively researched, the nutrient is now officially recognized as “Vitamin P.” OPCs, commonly derived from a combination of red wine extract grape seed extract, and/or pine bark extract, have been scientifically demonstrated to be 20 times more effective than Vitamin C and 50 times more effective than Vitamin E as a free radical scavenger. OPCs are shown to cross the blood-brain barrier and improve oxygenation of brain tissue.

They are currently researched for potential benefits in Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Attention Deficit Disorder. Several studies in animals show OPCs may improve memory associated to age-related cognitive decline. Animals receiving OPCs for five weeks showed improved spatial and object recognition. Clinical testing and scientific research in humans reveal no evidence for allergic reactions, toxicity, or carcinogenicity. OPC is 100% bioavailable in humans, being able to remain in the body for up to 72 hours.

Green Tea extract has a wide spectrum of medical applications. It contains coffee (2 to 4%), antioxidants and polyphenols. The extract is believed to assist with conditions ranging from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Parkinson’s disease to blood pressure and certain types of cancer. Polyphenols in its composition helps with Dopamine synthesis, an important neurotransmitter which regulates mood, motivation, decision making and attention. Green tea is considered generally safe, it may however cause stomach upset and constipation and in rare cases liver problems.

The daily serving is 1 capsule. The number of consumer reviews is extremely limited. No side effects or special precautions are mentioned for OPC Synergy.
