NeuroGaba 750 is manufactured by a company named Amen Clinics, founded by Daniel G. Amen, in 1989. Using single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) imaging in their labs, Amen Clinics quickly caught the attention of the American Psychiatric Association, which disagreed with their method of diagnosing their patients. In his own retrospective study of patient SPECT scans in 2010, Amen could correctly predict treatment response in only 29 of the 157 patients. However, Amen is still convinced his is the right method to predict and treat people’s ailments.

This supplement is promoted as a healthy, non-addictive product that can help with diminishing and combating restlessness, nervousness, irritability, insomnia, poor concentration, and tension. Designed to calm down a restless and overactive brain, it uses its inhibitory neurotransmitters to improve concentration, relieve tension, and even improve your sleep quality, if taken shortly before bedtime. By relaxing the central nervous system, it claims to bring back balance and a sense of calm to the body and brain.

Glycine and Gaba are the two ingredients contained in NeuroGaba 750’s formula, and many studies have been made on each of these amino-acids, but no conclusive research was made to prove this particular combinations effectiveness.

Synopsis

1) NeuroGaba 750 at a Glance

As its name would suggest, NeuroGaba 750 contains gamma-aminobutyric acid, or GABA, which is the chief inhibitory neurotransmitter in the central nervous system. Its role is to regulate excitability throughout the nervous system, but also is responsible for regulating the muscle tone. Also referred to as an alpha amino-acid, it was first discovered in 1883 in plants and later on, in 1950, in animals. Studies have shown that while GABA does not generally cross the Blood-Brain Barrier, orally administered GABA can increase the amount of human growth hormone. Since its discovery, it has become increasingly popular on the dietary supplement market.

Ingredients

2) Details on NeuroGaba 750 Ingredients and Uses

NeuroGaba 750 contains the following ingredients: GABA and Glycine.

3) Does NeuroGaba 750 Work?

NeuroGaba 750 contains only two ingredients: GABA and Glycine. These amino acids may not seem like much, but they are very useful, even vital, in helping balance the brain. Glycine, for example, may be the smallest amino acid found in proteins, but it is an inhibitory neurotransmitter in the central nervous system, especially in the spinal cord, retina, and brainstem. Studies have shown that a certain amount of Glycine before bedtime will considerably improve sleep quality. It has been proved useful even in schizophrenia treatments.

Amen Clinics have researched this supplement’s effectiveness and Dr. Abdou has conducted scientific studies, suggesting GABA was increasing alpha-wave activity in the brain. These alpha waves occur when a person is fully awake, but experiencing a relaxed state. These findings show that the formula reduces stress, promotes a sense of well-being, and may even improve concentration. GABA has also been shown to lower blood pressure, which is important in making brain connections.

The manufacturer’s claims may be believable, but there are no customer testimonials that could prove this beyond a shadow of a doubt. The supplement does not contain any artificial stimulants or caffeine, but this does not mean that by taking it you are free of any harmful side effects. However, this can be mostly avoided by respecting the weight-to-age ratio Amen Clinics suggests, as adults over 100 pounds may take up to 3 pills per day, while children between 50 and 100 pounds should consult a health care practitioner before use. All-in-all, GABA, and Glycine have been shown to be useful individually, but there is no evidence to conclude the Effectiveness of NeuroGaba 750’s formula.

Claims

4) What NeuroGaba 750 Does?

  • Can be bought directly from the Amen Clinics website
  • A monthly supply is quite affordable, regardless if you take 1 or 3 pills per day
  • Studies have shown that some of the product’s claims are realistic and may help people suffering from insomnia
  • If you are not completely satisfied with the product, Amen Clinics will offer you a refund

Precautions

5) Precautions of NeuroGaba 750 Use

  • To this day Amen Clinics SPECT scans have not been proven to be reliable in diagnosing patients
  • – NeuroGaba 750’s formula isn’t very unique, many other supplements also contain either GABA or Glycine

Cost

6) NeuroGaba 750 Cost

NeuroGaba 750 is quite inexpensive. While a monthly supply varies depending on your age and weight, this dietary supplement can still be found at a very low price from various retailers or buying the 60 pill bottle directly from Amen Clinic’s website. Shipping is just $5 as well, delivered anywhere in the U.S.A. or Canada. It is highly recommended you check their AutoShip service, to see how much you can save for monthly deliveries if you plan on buying in bulk. Amen Clinics also has a money-back guarantee that should be looked into, if for whatever reason you were not satisfied with their product.

How To Use

7) How to Use NeuroGaba 750

NeuroGaba 750’s amino-acid formula was designed to help those who have been either bombarded with information, or are generally tense and may be experiencing high anxiety. These symptoms lead to restlessness and even insomnia, which this supplement claims to combat. In more severe cases, the Glycine it contains has been proven to be effective in treating obsessive-compulsive disorder and schizophrenia. While studies indicate there are no side-effects liked to taking natural GABA, or Glycine, we do not know if we can say the same thing about taking the two simultaneously, or in a formula. An adult can take up to 3 pills per day (dissolved in water), according to your weight and age.

Does it Work

8) Bottom Line – Does It Really Work?

NeuroGaba 750’s approach seems to be “quality over quantity” when we take a look at its ingredients, but there is no clear indication that this is indeed the case. If we look at the studies and examine GABA and Glycine respectively, we can deduce their effectiveness individually, but not paired together. If you are predisposed to anxiety, or feeling nervousness and restlessness, it’s a clear sign you need the inhibitory neurotransmitters NeuroGaba 750 contains. Patients diagnosed with psychiatric or neurological disorders, like depression or schizophrenia should think about resorting to supplements that contain GABA and Glycine. For best results, adults should take 3 pills per day.

I was a nervous wreck after an accident I was involved in, so I found NeuroGaba 750 and tried it. It won’t do much to me during the day, so I use them as sleeping pills instead.
