Product Features

Natural Soybean Lecithin combines Lecithin granules and phospholipids. Lecithin is a lipid, or fat. It contains Choline, Linoleic acid, Phosphorus and Inositol (a substance similar to B Vitamins). Lecithin is required for proper cellular function and is found in the cells of all living organisms. and. The Natural Soybean Lecithin uses lecithin derived from soybeans.

Lecithin has a number of different uses, though most benefits fall in line with the nervous and circulatory systems. Since lecithin is essentially composed mainly of fat, it can act as a protective wall throughout the body to protect and strengthen membranes and prevent them from hardening. Hardening of the membranes may lead to artery diseases, such as arteriosclerosis.

It has also shown tendencies to help with memory and learning, with several studies indicating increased capacity of recall in people supplementing their diets with lecithin. The benefits of Lecithin on the brain also seem to be promising for Alzheimer’s disease patients, although research so far is inconclusive.

The manufacturer recommends using the formula on an extended period of time so that effects are visible. 1-2 grains should be consumed once a day. Although the manufacturer mentions no side effects, diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pain or fullness have sometime been reported.
