Synopsis

1) Mind Plus at a Glance

Mind Plus is 100% herbal blend which features more than 20 plant extracts in a liquid formulation.

Animal studies have shown that active ingredients contained by the extract of Indian Valerian work by depressing motor and autonomic activity and by altering behavioral patterns. Indian Valerian has depressant and sedative effects making the plant extremely popular in Ayurvedic therapy designed to treat or aid with delirium, insomnia, behavioral disorders, anxiety, tremors and inflammation in the joints. However, insufficient human studies to confirm its effectiveness exist. Valerian is considered safe for most people when used short-term. It can however cause side effects (headache, uneasiness, insomnia and excitability).

Shatavari is believed to possess antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects, although not sufficient evidence exists to prove any of its medicinal uses. It is used to regulate hormonal secretions, to treat stomach problems, anxiety, bronchitis, diabetes and dementia. A study conducted on rats found that Shatavari improved the memory of the rats studied and protected against amnesia. Concern exists in regarding its effect on pregnant women.

There is some scientific evidence that Indian Valerian can help with sleep disorders, other studies have shown that this plant can improve mood and the ability to concentrate.

Shatavari is an Ayurvedic herb used to regulate hormonal secretions, maintain and nourish the female reproductive organs. Its lack of side effects makes it the ideal treatment for female sexual problems due to its rejuvenating and restorative properties.

Indian Kudzu is a large perennial climber, distributed throughout India. In the Ayurvedic tradition, this plant is best known for its tonic effect, for dealing with headaches and as an aphrodisiac. Future studies must be made to determine its effectiveness in addressing alcohol hangovers.
