FOCUSFactor for Kids Ingredients

FOCUSFactor for Kids includes the following ingredients: Vitamin D, Vitamin C, Vitamin E (as natural d-alpha tocopheryl acetate), Vitamin B12, Phosphatidylcholine, Phosphatidylserine and a Proprietary Blend of: Bilberry, N-acetyl L-Tyrosine, Inositol, Coenzyme Q10, Natural Sweeteners cellulose, natural flavor, Magnesium Stearate, Silica, and organic unrefined sugar cane.

Product Features

FOCUSFactor for Kids is a blend of vitamins, amino acids and other nutrients (such as Coenzyme Q10) designed to support cognitive function and healthy brain function in children.

N-acetyl L-Tyrosine (or Tyrosine) is an amino acid which plays a key role in protein synthesis processes. It can be found in many high protein content foods such as meat, fish, eggs, beans, or dairy products. Tyrosine is a precursor to the neurotransmitters dopamine and epinephrine, which play important roles in regulating brain functions. Particularly, Dopamine plays a key role in cognition, motivation, punishment and reward mechanism, attention, working memory and learning processes.

Phosphatidylserine is extracted from various types of soybean. The substance has been the subject of many research studies which tried to reveal its brain and cognitive function impact, but so far the results are controversial. The FDA concluded that there is not enough evidence to support Phosphatidylserin’s effectiveness in dementia or cognitive dysfunction, but admitted that it may reduce the risk of cognitive dysfunction in elderly people.

The manufacturer mentions no side effect associated to the formula, and most consumer testimonials confirm the product’s increased effectiveness.

The recommended dosage is 2 chewable wafers a day with food.
