Focus Mode is a nootropic supplement which promises to support and optimize your mind for better concentration, memory, mood, and focus. It’s distributed by Evlution Nutrition, a company from Sunshine, Florida. They’ve become rather popular in only a couple of years, winning an overall award in 2015 for their work. Their supplement products are sold in some physical locations, yhrough GNC. Most of the people who come to EVL will be fitness minded, but Focus Mode is supposed to work for anyone who might enjoy its potential benefits.

Facts

1) Focus Mode Quick Facts

Focus Mode has seven active ingredients. This includes Huperzia Serrata extract (std. min. 1% Huperzine A), Theacrine (as TeaCrine), and Alpha-Glycerylphosphorylcholine powder (Alpha-GPC). Alpha GPC is a natural choline compound found in the brain and it’s better understood than some alternatives. It delivers choline to the brain, through the blood brain barrier, and has potential in treating things like stroke and dementia.

You can also see Alpha-GPC is other quality nootropics like Alpha Brain.

Formula

2) What Are Focus Mode Ingredients?

Focus Mode contains the following ingredients: Acetyl L-Tyrosine (750mg), Guarana Seed Extract (250mg), Alpha GPC (200mg), Choline Bitartrate (200mg), Theacrine (25 mg), Sceletium Tortuosum (25mg), Huperzine A (10mg).

3) Is Focus Mode Right for You?

The supplement uses seven nootropic ingredients: N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine, Guarana Seed Extract, Choline Bitartrate, and others. Choline is a water-soluble nutrient often grouped with B vitamins. It’s an essential nutrient in humans and many other animals, who can’t produce it themselves. It helps with structural integrity in cells, regulating some liver health, and more. It may have cognitive boosting effects because it can help neurotransmitter production. There aren’t a lot of reliable studies on the effects of choline, although it may have a wide variety of uses, and can be found in a considerable number of nootropics. It may be especially important for women who are about to become pregnant, or are pregnant, because it could reduce chances of certain birth defects.

A typical serving of choline is 250 to 500 mg, for health purposes. It’s often best to start out slowly. A beginning dose is often 50 to 100 mg a day, and Focus Mode has 100 mg of choline per capsule. You can also get choline from various foods. Choline is found in eggs, broccoli, chicken, peanuts, almonds, and more. Most adults needed less than 600 mg of choline a day, which some diets already supply.

Health Benefits

4) Focus Mode Health Benefits

[TIaffiliatelink]

  • Uses popular ingredients such as Huperzine-A and contains a fair amount of choline.
  • The company offers low-cost samples to people who want to try Focus Mode without buying a month’s supply.

Precautions

5) Precautions of Focus Mode Use

  • Highly priced for a supplement which doesn’t contain optimal amounts of certain ingredients.
  • Isn’t particularly innovative or unique. There are hundreds of supplements which make similar promises about what they can do for your mind.
Cost

6) How Much Does Focus Mode Cost?

There are 60 capsules per bottle and EVL Nutrition recommends taking two a day. (At breakfast, with a glass of water.) The price is above average for a cognitive enhancer which lasts for only one month. You might be able to get a good deal at a large retailer like GNC. The company does not appear to have a standard money back guarantee. Returns are only accepted if your order was damaged in transit, and you’d have to pay for the return shipping. EVL Nutrition does, however, offer samples of several product. For a fraction of the original price, you can get at least one daily serving of the product of your choice.

How To Use

7) How to Use Focus Mode

In Europe, Alpha GPC is used in some prescription medicines for Alzheimer’s disease. It’s also found in some foods, and there’s some evidence to show that Alpha GPC may be superior to many other forms of choline. It’s also thought to be more pharmacologically active at higher doses. However, it shouldn’t be confused with general choline. Taking it with food is recommended but not necessary. Storage is the single biggest issue with Alpha GPC. It degrades quickly, especially when you take it every day. Vacuum sealed bags or freezing your Alpha GPC is recommended, especially if you won’t use the entire bottle within a month. Minimizing the amount of air you expose Alpha GPC to is essential to keeping it for any extended period of time. With Focus Mode, you shouldn’t need to worry about storage. That generally matters only when you need to store a supplement for two months or more. The only problem is that this supplement contains 100 to 200 mg of Alpha GPC per serving, and the most common dose is 300 to 600 mg a day.

Does it Work

8) Bottom Line – Does It Really Work?

Some people really enjoy Focus Mode and it has a wealth of potential benefits. Like many other nootropics it promises a great cognitive boost for daily activity. Unfortunately, the formula doesn’t seem properly optimized, and the price is high considering this fact. There are a lot of nootropics on the market, many with similar benefits, and some sites offer in depth reivews. Focus Mode looks like it will be perfectly average for most consumers. That might be exactly what people want, in some cases.
