Dr. Feel Good is marketed as a high performance, high potency multivitamin with a complete vitamin and mineral formula specially designed to improve health, mood, and vitality. The company behind this supplement is the US pharmaceutical company S.A.N.

According to the manufacturer, Dr. Feel Good will support the thousands of chemical reactions occurring in your body for healthy enzymatic reactions, metabolism, and body function. The producing company also claims that Dr. Feel Good formula is superior to any other multivitamin products available on the market, because it includes a unique blend of all-natural herbal extracts to detoxify the liver, reduce free radical damage, enhance brain cognition, and improve overall feelings of well”being.

This claim may be true as Dr. Feel Good is one of the most complex formulations we have reviewed so far.

Product Features

As you can see from the ingredients list, Dr. Feel Good contains an enormous number of vitamins, minerals, herbal extracts, amino-acids, and other nutrients. These ingredients are grouped into 3 key complexes: the Free Radical Scavenging and Liver Tonic Complex, the Brain Cognitive and Feel Good Complex, and “the Elite VitaAktive Multivitamin and Mineral Complex.

Because there are so many different ingredients, it’s almost impossible to identify one or even a few core ingredients. However, there are some interesting ones we like.

Let’s start with an amino-acid: N”-Acetyl Tyrosine. The body needs tyrosine to produce chemical messengers that are essential in conditions involving the brain, including mental alertness, focus, thinking, and concentration. N-Acetyl Tyrosine can also be used to help prevent cognitive fatigue, resulting in higher energy levels.

Secondly, we have an herbal extract: Bacopa Monnieri. This natural herb has been shown in randomized, controlled clinical trials to improve speed of visual information processing, memory consolidation, and learning rate while simultaneously decreasing anxiety and stress. Bacopa monnieri can significantly enhance cognitive function in healthy human subjects.

Ginkgo Biloba is another interesting addition and, probably, one of the most popular herbal ingredients when it comes to brain supplementation. Ginkgo Biloba offers two important benefits to the human brain. First, Ginkgo safely increases blood flow to the brain, improving cognition via a boost in memory and concentration. Second, Ginkgo acts as a free radical to prevent neuronal cell death related to reduced mental capacity.

Advantages

  • Dr. Feel Good contains vitamins, minerals, and amino-acids with proven benefits for brain health
  • Affordable price
  • Well advertised supplement with some reviews and testimonials available online

Disadvantages

  • Enormous amount of different ingredients that are very unlikely to work together as claimed
  • Dr. Feel Good contains some questionable herbal extracts
  • Potential side effects and/or negative interactions with other supplements or with prescription meds
  • The daily recommended dose is 8 capsules
  • While most ingredients have been tested in the past few years, there is no clinical evidence that Dr. Feel Good formula works as advertised

Conclusion

If you are one of our dedicated readers, then you know that we are reticent when it comes to formulas with so many different ingredients. We feel that “less is better”when it comes to brain supplementation.

Dr. Feel Good is a bit of an exception and here is why. For most supplements, the recommended dose is one to three capsules per day. If the formula is composed of 20+ ingredients, then there isn’t much of each ingredient inside those capsules. However, the recommended dose of Dr. Feel Good is 8 capsules a day, which means there is a good chance to get some decent amounts of each core ingredient. From this point of view, Dr. Feel Good may offer some benefits.
