CognoBlend Ingredients

CognoBlend includes the following ingredients: Vitamin E, CognoBlend Proprietary blend: Bacopa Monnieri extract, Gotu Kola extract, Ginkgo Biloba extract, Eleutherococcus senticosus extract, Phosphatidyl Choline, Grape Seed extract, Huperzine A, Gelatin, rice flour, silicon dioxide, and Magnesium Stearate.

Product Features

CognoBlend is formulated to promote mental alertness and performance through a combination of herbal extracts. Key ingredients include Huperzine A, Gingko Biloba, Gotu Kola extract, Bacopa Monnieri extract, Phosphatidyl Choline and grape seed extract.

Huperzine A is the result of extensive laboratory manipulation and contains hundreds of chemical ingredients. Evidence shows that Huperzine A works by increasing levels of the neurotransmitter Acetylcholine and that this way it benefits memory, prevents loss of mental abilities and protects the brain from memory impairing conditions. Although Huperzine A use is considered on the short term, long term effects are not fully understood. Most common side effects include nausea, blurred vision, slurred speech diarrhea, vomiting, sweating, loss of appetite, restlessness, cramping, high blood pressure, incontinence and slowed heart rate.

Bacopa Monnieri or Brahmi is an Ayurvedic medicine known for its excellent brain tonic properties. Research shows it contains a number of chemical constituents, including Bacosides A and B from the class of Bacopasaponins, which are believed to possess nootropic anti-oxidant effects. Preliminary clinical trials have shown it to possess the ability to increase mental alertness, recall focus and memory. Additionally Bacopa may promote mental relaxation thus reducing anxiety, mental fatigue and lack of focus.

CognoBlend did not receive consumer reviews. No side effects are mentioned regarding the formula. The recommended dosage is 2 capsules a day for a minimum period of 4 weeks.

  • The Ginkgo Biloba and Bacopa Monnieri extracts are standardized at levels of standardization used in numerous clinical studies;
  • Moderate price (approximately $25 for a month’s supply).

  • Potential side effects associated to most ingredients;
  • Special precautions and drug interactions warnings are issued for certain categories of people;
  • Lack of consumer reviews.

CognoBlend is one of the many herbal supplements advertised to benefit memory, concentration and cognitive function in general. Like most dietary supplements, the formula is not supported by any real scientific evidence. However, the individual ingredients are known to positively influence certain functions of the brain. For instance, Ginkgo enhances blood flow and ensures optimum delivery of oxygen and nutrients, whereas Huperzine A stimulates synthesis of the neuro transmitter Acetyl Choline, hence increasing memory capacity and alertness.

Given that there are no consumer reviews available and based exclusively on the ingredient list, we may assume the product will accomplish its purpose for some consumers, while for others it may have no impact. We recommend you take a decision only after thorough documentation.
