Cognifocus is a dietary supplement made by ‘Thrive Healthy Families’ for brain enhancement. It contains some highly potent herbs and proteins clinically proven to stimulate brain functions. The company claims that this nootropic brain supplement enhances focus, clarity, and memory while it also elevates mood, physical energy, and alertness. Its unique blend of ingredients is neuroprotective, increases blood flow to the brain and also supports neurotransmitter function. Although Cognifocus has not yet received FDA approval, different studies and user’s satisfaction verify their claims. Each bottle contains 30 capsules while each tablet to be taken 1-2 times a day.

Combined effect of all of the ingredients makes this supplement a potent nootropic agent. However, the product should be avoided by patients taking anticoagulants or with coagulation disorders. In such individuals, it should be stopped 2-3 days before any surgical or dental procedure.

It should be avoided in lactating mothers, pregnant women and by the couple who are trying to conceive, as it contains St. John’s Wart which may cause photosensitivity.
